LET ME START BY SAYING SAM GALLOWAY FORDS QUICK LANE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT SO QUICK. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A 29 MINUTE OR LESS OIL CHANGE (OR IT'S FREE), WELL MY CAR WAS CHECKED IN @ 10 AM & THEY WERE DONE @ 1:32 PM FOR AN OIL CHANGE, WIPERS & AIR FILTER (WHICH WAS A RIP OFF PRICE WISE).
THE RUDE CASHIER SAYS I HAD TO SEE MY SERVICE ADVISOR FOR A FREE OIL CHANGE COUPON. SO I WASTED ANOTHER 10 MIN CHASING DOWN MIKE WATKINS FOR MY COUPON. WHEN I FINALLY GOT HIM, HE (NASTILY) SAID IT WAS NOT FREE BECAUSE IT'S ONLY FREE IF IT'S JUST & OIL CHANGE. "NOW PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS, IN OTHER WORDS IT TOOK THEM & EXTRA 3 HOURS JUST TO REPLACE WIPERS & AN AIR FILTER." NOW I'M PISSED OFF!!
SO I ASK FOR THE MANAGER & GUESS WHAT I GOT? A VERY AGGRESSIVE OVERBEARING ITALIAN VICTOR HYER WHO WAS SO INCREDIBLY RUDE TO ME & ALSO REFUSED TO GIVE ME A FREE COUPON. I FACTED HE TOLD ME IF I WAS GOING TO *** ABOUT IT, THEN HE DID NOT WANT MY BUSINESS & TO NEVER COME BACK!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HERING!!
I'VE BEEN A SGF CUSTOMER FOR 6 YEARS & 3 CARS LATER & I GET TREATED LIKE TRASH, WHY? ALL IS I WANTED WAS WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. THAT'S IT. WELL NOW I'M ADVERTISING "DO NOT EVER USE SAM GALLOWAY FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR ANYTHING THEY WILL COMPLETELY *** YOU".

If anyone is looking to buy a Ford vehicle I would suggest to take a ride to Avon Park Ford/ Bill Jarrett Ford. We had our daughters fix at Galloway which cost 525.00 for a broken wire.
We will be going there from now on for oil change and tire rotation in Avon Park is 39.00.
Galloway is 59.00. Nice drive there and itโs quicker.
I agree. The Ford place in Port Charlotte fixed a warranty issue that Sam Galloway refused to fix.
Ford' s quick lane service is crooked. Took my Taurus in because steering wheel would vibrate whenever I applied the brakes while driving.
They supposedly checked and found $2800 worth of repairs.
Took it somewhere else and the mechanic said only problem was a worn rotor-$143 . :(
A couple of years ago, I hired on as a "Quick Lane" service advisor at Mountain View Ford/Lincoln in Chattanooga. Didn't take but a few days to realize what a joke the place was, and I quit after a couple of months.
No lunch breaks, multi-tasking the jobs of service advisor, tire salesman, parts driver, parts counterman, lot attendant, and shop foreman to supervise the former Wal Mart "mechanics". 10 to 12 hour days, 5-days a week, and a Saturday solo shift of 6 to 8 hours. Then there was the steady stream of customer sarcasm and jokes about the name of our department, and how "Quick" had nothing to do with their visit. With 25 years experience in the auto service industry I have more than a clue as to what it takes run a successful service department, and MV Ford/Lincoln didn't have it, because when I drove by yesterday, I noticed their Quick Lane department was closed for good.
My advice to Ford?
Hire enough staff to run your business and let Jiffy Lube handle quick service.
My oill change took 38 minutes and they offered the free coupon without me having to even ask for it. Too many people go to places looking for trouble, especially when the the word free is mentioned
my car was taken in for an oil change and the tires balanced. todays the 6th day theyve had it.
they broke an engine component and fought with me on friday about it. VICTOR HYER refused to give us a courtesy car, he denied it being their responsibility. I found out he chewed out the service guy who broke my car for breaking it. Homer was helpful, Steve Boyle was equally as useless as victor.
day 5 they gave my boyfriend a loaner vehicle, but its my car that they broke! The service department has a terrible reputation with individuals and businesses in town! NEVER GO THERE!
they do not take care of anybodys behicles. I've heard stories of Victor himself wrecking somebodys vehicle and acting as though he didnt.
You are not being reasonable. There guarantee is for an "Oil change only".
If you add anything and I mean anything, the guarantee doesn't stand. It seems to me that you are the one being unreasonable.

THAT'S ALL I HAD DONE. HOMER DID HOOK ME UP WITH A FREE COUPON, IF IT WERE'NT FOR HOMER I WOULD NOT EVER GO BACK.
THEY LIE, STEAL, & CHEAT ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS. AND THAT *** VICTOR HYER, WHAT A HUGE PIECE OF DOG *** SAMMY HAYES IS NOT MUCH BETTER! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND @ ALL
THE SAME THING HAPPEND TO ME. GOT THERE ABOUT 8:30 AM & MY EXPLORER WAS FINISHED @ 11:37 AM.
I HAD AN OIL CHANGE & ROTATE & BALANCE. EVERY TIME I ASKED ABOUT MY TRUCK THEY WOULD SAY 10 MINUTES.
THAT IS THE SLOWEST "QUICK LANE" I HAVE EVER SEEM. I DID GET A FREE OIL CHANGE COUPON MAILED TO ME SO I MIGHT USE IT & REPORT BACK AS TO HOW EVERYTHING WENT.
TOOK MY TRUCK IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE & 2 HOURS LATER WHEN I GOT IT BACK MY GARMAN GPS WAS MISSING!! MANAGEMENT SAYS THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT.
5 WEEKS LATER & NOT A SINGLE PHONE CALL. DEFINITLY WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND SAM GALLOWAY FORD
