Poor service

Can I give it "0" stars? We have a new vehicle with only 5328 miles on it. While traveling the power steering had an issue with an error message that it needed to be towed. Sam Galloway in Ft. Myers was the closest ford dealership. They are refusing to honor the warranty for repairs and would not provide a loaner car. They have had the car 5 days ( admittedly over the weekend) and have not even started to repair. The dealership I bought from also contacted Sam Galloway Ford and sent the verification this repair should be under warranty but Sam Galloway Ford refuses to budge. I am now working with Ford directly for a resolution. In the mean time, my car is 200 miles away (we had to go home), undrivable, and fighting for repairs.

The Worst Service Department

Steer your Ford clear of this place! I have never written a review before so you know it got to me. Our truck was there for 8 days with excuse after excuse why it wasn't being looked at let alone fixed. Today I just went and picked up to take it elsewhere. Never ever again will I set foot in Sam Galloway Ford! Review would be zero but it won't let me.

User's recommendation: Get your Ford serviced elsewhere.

Do not buy a car here.

I purchased a certified Ford mustang with the extended warranty. Well 15000 miles and the alternator just went which is covered under there extended warranty. I brought my car there and upon dropping it off was told that they don't have time to look at it today and we cannot give you a loaner car until we know whats wrong with this one...Well folks I don't know about you but I need to get to work everyday to pay for this certified piece of *** and guess what I am already paying 599 for the certified part and Im sure a lot more for the extended warranty...Never again will I buy a car from this place again...

an hour ago Worst service department on the planet. Took 3 months to get my vehicle in. Service writer Brian NEVER returns calls. they told me people who are close to warranty expiration by mileage, leave their vehicles for weeks to get a warranty repair??!! How is acceptable?? I needed batteries and a radio flash that was supposed to be covered under warranty. 4 days later I had to get my truck as I couldn't wait any longer. What good is a warranty when the dealer cant even take it in. managers are never available. You arent even a number at this place..run run run away. My 2018 F250 is my first Ford vehicle since 1992. I took the leap from a Silverado 2500, and I'm so disappointed....I regret it. Such a shame as I have been awaiting looking at a 2020 Ford F250 when they become available. I cant risk buying another when my Dealer Sam Galloway Ford cant handle service repairs. Anthony Trabon

Sam Galloway Ford - 2006 F250 Repair Review

Took my truck in for a coolant leak. They took two days to change a hose and when I picked my truck up they didn't put all the parts back on. So I had to take it back in again and the next day the truck is still leaking and they half as*ed put it back together. I have wires hanging down by the tire! Terrible service. To top it all off it's a holiday weekend so now I have to wait even longer to get it done right, if that ever happens.

Sam Galloway Ford Car Repair Review from Cape Coral, Florida

Plain and simple they suck I bought a brand new 2015 Ford Edge that cost over $40,000 I bought the master Services agreement then everything else they had to offer now today my car breaks down I cannot drive it had to be towed to the garage they tell me that I can't get a loaner car till Monday because Enterprise has left for the day and that was at 1 p.m. I have a problem or the car dies on the road it just shuts down they tell me they won't even be able to look at it I have to leave it for three to four days in order to get in because they're booked solid this is a dangerous situation as the vehicle just shuts down while it's being driven so there's no power no engine no steering no brakes and they tell me they can't even look at it even though it's a life-threatening situation they will not look at the vehicle for three to five days and even then I'm told they likely will not be able to find the problem give me a break Ford can't figure out why their car shuts down while driving it on the highway I've never heard of such nonsense well I've driven a Ford lately and I'll never drive another one again I'm never buying another car from Sam Galloway or any Ford dealer they all suck. I gave them one star because it would not let me give them 0 Stars

Call backs!

After you buy a car from these people, does anyone care about calling a customer back? Try 5 phones and 3 voicemails in 4 days and not a call back yet. I guess they got my money when they sold me this car and now they could care less. Hope nobody else has an experience like this. I guess I will go to showroom and raise my voice, maybe then someone will answer my questions. My issue is they sold me a standard oil change contract for 5 quarts of regular oil for a mustang GT that takes 8 quarts of synthetic. Nobody will honor the contract or let is pay the difference. The warranty company wants us to send the original receipt with the contract # via US mail and they reimburse the standard amount in 2-3 weeks. They will not accept an email attachment or a fax. So not only did they sell me the wrong contract, the warranty company is still living in the last century as they don't use email or even a fax machine

NOT POOR SERVICE,NO SERVICE!!

Your dealership in the most poorly run one I have ever encoutered in my 50 years of buying and maintaing automobile. I have a 2015 Mustang which has less the 36k plus a certified bumper to bumper warranty and they refuse to take care of warranty problem. All I get is the runaround and passed off from service guy to service manager, to Ford Motor Company. I can promise you this, I have lots of friends and business associates in this area, and they will all learn of the poor business practices of Sam Galloway. There are lots of other complaints listed here and I will post this website address for others to review. P.S. DON'T BOTHER TO RESPOND, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!!

DO NOT LEASE A CAR FROM SAM GALLOWAY FORD

Galloway Ford is NOT to be trusted. We wanted to trade our Leased Explorer in to a Volvo Dealer at the end of the lease. When the Volvo Dealer called Sam Galloway Ford for the pay off they would not return the Volvo Dealer's calls. I contacted Sam Galloway's Manager and he told me we that we would have to bring the car back to them, pay the overage on the mileage, buy the car from them, pay sales tax of 6%, register the car, and then we could trade it into the Volvo Dealer. I contacted Ford Motor Credit directly and they contradicted their own dealer "Sam Galloway Ford" Imagine how many customers they screwed over the years with this scam!

Ford says it's OK to drive car with defective Air bag

No help from Ford. In my opinion, Ford has calculated that it's cheaper to deal in a court of law over deaths of people than accept responsibility for flaws in their products. In the 15S21 it specifically states "An inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death." When you speak with the Ford Customer Care (Vended out call center staff members) they say it's ok to drive the car until the corrections are made. Honda allows rental cars for those who have the same problem. Who in their right mind would drive a car with this warning? I think Mr.Galloway should see his physician and get his meds changed.

Horrible, Horrible Service

Giving 1 star was my only choice. I've read reviews on different sites over the past 10 or so years and 50% of them have been bad. I've been giving Sam Galloway the benefit of the doubt and I am now no longer going to do so. We have a 2014 Ford Explorer that has had the same exact problems 3 separate times over the past 12 months. The service department has the car for weeks at a time and no one can seem to figure out what is wrong with it. The last time we brought it in there, they said they figured it out and they fixed it. Now 3 months later, we're having the exact same problems again. Meanwhile, the visor in our 2015 Mustang GT no longer works. The mirror light is out and the homelink (a.k.a. garage door opener) no longer works. I called last Tuesday to try to get it in for service. The woman told me they would try to get someone to look at it that day. I decided to make an appointment for 9am on Saturday instead. I dropped the car off at 8:30 am with the service person named Jeff. He said that he would call me in a few hours. At 3:30, I still hadn't heard from Jeff or anyone from the service center and knowing that they close at 4pm, I had to call the. I asked for Jeff and was put on hold for 14 minutes and 41 seconds. Then hung up and called again and got Jeff on the phone and he told me that no one has looked at the car today and that he is sorry. No explanation of why nor did he give me any resolution. The funny thing is that the same thing happened about 2 months ago with the sister company Coconut Point Ford in Estero. I dropped my car off at 8am, they shuttled me to work. Got a ride to dealership at 5pm and they told me that they didn't have time to look at it thoroughly to give a diagnosis or decide if they could order parts. Lesson learned, I will now take our vehicles to Sarasota Ford. That's where we ended up buy-ing the mustang from and saving $10,000 and got a car that is extremely better than what Galloway or Coconut Point could offer us. Believe me it will be worth the drive. If you choose to do business with either dealership, I wish you the best of luck!!

BEWARE! HORRIBLE! Dropped off my car for oil change and picked it up with FLOOD on the title!

PLEASE READ! BEWARE!!! I took my car in for a standard oil change and picked it up with FLOOD on the title! Upon dropping off the car, I was told there was a complimentary car wash with the oil change. I mentioned, I would have to come after hours to pick up the car. That was no issue; they said they would lock the keys in the car since I have the keypad. Later that evening, we had extremely bad weather. As I pull up to the dealership, as its literally pouring, I noticed my sunroof was wide open. My car had been sitting in the rain for approximately 3 hours with the sunroof open. The car was flooded and I was unable to find my keys. So I had to use an umbrella. It was extremely hard to get a hold of someone from the dealership, after waiting 45 minutes in the pouring rain and contacting the finance manager, and him hanging up on me because it "wasn't his job", the service manager was finally contacted. To make a very long and tiring story short, the dealership saw it as an opportunity to make money and was shocked that I wasn't choosing them to make the repairs to the interior. Yes they did pay for the rental, and did pay for the deductible on my insurance, but it was a very difficult experience. Now my car has "FLOOD" on the title, and I couldn't even get the oil change refunded. They made me feel as if they were doing me a favor, and then when the other dealership had to wait on the factory to make the new seats, they called me and cancelled the rental and said it was taking too long, as if it was my fault. Basically I was told it wasn't there problem and they have been more than fair... Really, yes it’s completely fair that I have to deal with a car that has Flood on the car fax, and your dealer only had to pay for the seats and carpets to be replaced. The car now smells weird, and this is not the end of this. Companies that operate in such a poor manor should be made an example of. Seriously take your money elsewhere because this company is only about itself, and the *** attitudes around that place are ridiculous. This is why this is my very last Ford. The Ford Company really needs to step in and tighten up the quality of service their dealerships are providing. WHO LEAVES THE SUNROOF OPEN IN A CUSTOMERS CAR WITH THE KEYS "APPARENTLY" INSIDE? Which they weren't!!!
