Verified Reviewer |Took my wifes car in for a check engine light and I told them the problem was a coolant sensor for the battery.
I told them I knew the problem was in the cooler sensor when I delivered the car The bill was $650 and the problem was a broken wire to a coolant sensor. I was told a mouse ate the wire.
We keep the car in a garage and have never seen a mouse. They would not release the car until the bill was paid. I called another Ford dealer and asked the cost of the part for which I was charged and was told the retail price was $35. Sam Galloway charged $95 for the same part.
This is a fine example of a corporation maximizing profit over good honest business. Ford should remove that dealership from their list before they lose more customers.

Company could replace the $100.00 part at no cost to me.
They installed a hood bug deflector, and after 18,000 miles it broke. Left a mess on my hood!
They couldn't care less.
Called ford and stated not their problem either. Great customer service !

Don't stand behind their products
I would like Ford and Sam Galloway to stand behind their products. A Ford battery was replaced in September 2022 under 3 year warranty.
16 months later the battery needed to be replaced because of a bad cell. There was no proration of the billing for the battery because it was replaced under warranty. Clearly, I did nothing wrong to cause a bad cell it would be a Ford product manufacturing issue. There is no logical reason why there should not be a warranty on a Ford product that lasted less than 1/2 of its normal warranty period and failed because of a manufacturing issue.
The fact that Ford does not pay the dealer for warranty work should not cause a warranty not to be issued.
If this was an engine instead of a battery would this be the same case? My wife and I have been purchasing Ford vehicles for over 30 years and this situation is making me examine my options the next time.

Complete ignorance toward customer service. Bait & switch techniques while lieing about repairs to your vehicle.. Total shady business practices.
Took my F-150 in for engine light & was told it was a computer issue. Didn't even look at it for 5 days.Told me they fixed it & then did I need a new transmission !

Can I give it "0" stars? We have a new vehicle with only 5328 miles on it.
While traveling the power steering had an issue with an error message that it needed to be towed. Sam Galloway in Ft. Myers was the closest ford dealership. They are refusing to honor the warranty for repairs and would not provide a loaner car.
They have had the car 5 days ( admittedly over the weekend) and have not even started to repair. The dealership I bought from also contacted Sam Galloway Ford and sent the verification this repair should be under warranty but Sam Galloway Ford refuses to budge.
I am now working with Ford directly for a resolution. In the mean time, my car is 200 miles away (we had to go home), undrivable, and fighting for repairs.

The Worst Service Department
Steer your Ford clear of this place! I have never written a review before so you know it got to me.
Our truck was there for 8 days with excuse after excuse why it wasn't being looked at let alone fixed. Today I just went and picked up to take it elsewhere.
Never ever again will I set foot in Sam Galloway Ford! Review would be zero but it won't let me.

Do not buy a car here.
I purchased a certified Ford mustang with the extended warranty. Well 15000 miles and the alternator just went which is covered under there extended warranty. I brought my car there and upon dropping it off was told that they don't have time to look at it today and we cannot give you a loaner car until we know whats wrong with this one...Well folks I don't know about you but I need to get to work everyday to pay for this certified piece of *** and guess what I am already paying 599 for the certified part and Im sure a lot more for the extended warranty...Never again will I buy a car from this place again...

Worst service department on the planet. Took 3 months to get my vehicle in.
Service writer Brian NEVER returns calls. they told me people who are close to warranty expiration by mileage, leave their vehicles for weeks to get a warranty repair??!! How is acceptable?? I needed batteries and a radio flash that was supposed to be covered under warranty.
4 days later I had to get my truck as I couldn't wait any longer. What good is a warranty when the dealer cant even take it in. managers are never available. You arent even a number at this place..run run run away.
My 2018 F250 is my first Ford vehicle since 1992.
I took the leap from a Silverado 2500, and I'm so disappointed....I regret it.
Such a shame as I have been awaiting looking at a 2020 Ford F250 when they become available. I cant risk buying another when my Dealer Sam Galloway Ford cant handle service repairs.

Sam Galloway Ford - 2006 F250 Repair Review
Took my truck in for a coolant leak. They took two days to change a hose and when I picked my truck up they didn't put all the parts back on.
So I had to take it back in again and the next day the truck is still leaking and they half as*ed put it back together. I have wires hanging down by the tire!
Terrible service. To top it all off it's a holiday weekend so now I have to wait even longer to get it done right, if that ever happens.

Plain and simple they suck I bought a brand new 2015 Ford Edge that cost over $40,000 I bought the master Services agreement then everything else they had to offer now today my car breaks down I cannot drive it had to be towed to the garage they tell me that I can't get a loaner car till Monday because Enterprise has left for the day and that was at 1 p.m. I have a problem or the car dies on the road it just shuts down they tell me they won't even be able to look at it I have to leave it for three to four days in order to get in because they're booked solid this is a dangerous situation as the vehicle just shuts down while it's being driven so there's no power no engine no steering no brakes and they tell me they can't even look at it even though it's a life-threatening situation they will not look at the vehicle for three to five days and even then I'm told they likely will not be able to find the problem give me a break Ford can't figure out why their car shuts down while driving it on the highway I've never heard of such nonsense well I've driven a Ford lately and I'll never drive another one again I'm never buying another car from Sam Galloway or any Ford dealer they all suck. I gave them one star because it would not let me give them 0 Stars
NOT POOR SERVICE,NO SERVICE!!
Your dealership in the most poorly run one I have ever encoutered in my 50 years of buying and maintaing automobile. I have a 2015 Mustang which has less the 36k plus a certified bumper to bumper warranty and they refuse to take care of warranty problem.
All I get is the runaround and passed off from service guy to service manager, to Ford Motor Company. I can promise you this, I have lots of friends and business associates in this area, and they will all learn of the poor business practices of Sam Galloway.
There are lots of other complaints listed here and I will post this website address for others to review.
P.S. DON'T BOTHER TO RESPOND, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!!
Call backs!
After you buy a car from these people, does anyone care about calling a customer back? Try 5 phones and 3 voicemails in 4 days and not a call back yet.
I guess they got my money when they sold me this car and now they could care less. Hope nobody else has an experience like this. I guess I will go to showroom and raise my voice, maybe then someone will answer my questions. My issue is they sold me a standard oil change contract for 5 quarts of regular oil for a mustang GT that takes 8 quarts of synthetic.
Nobody will honor the contract or let is pay the difference. The warranty company wants us to send the original receipt with the contract # via US mail and they reimburse the standard amount in 2-3 weeks.
They will not accept an email attachment or a fax. So not only did they sell me the wrong contract, the warranty company is still living in the last century as they don't use email or even a fax machine
