BEWARE! HORRIBLE! Dropped off my car for oil change and picked it up with FLOOD on the title!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
PLEASE READ! BEWARE!!! I took my car in for a standard oil change and picked it up with FLOOD on the title! Upon dropping off the car, I was told there was a complimentary car wash with the oil change. I mentioned, I would have to come after hours to pick up the car. That was no issue; they said they would lock the keys in the car since I have the keypad. Later that evening, we had extremely bad weather. As I pull up to the dealership, as its literally pouring, I noticed my sunroof was wide open. My car had been sitting in the rain for approximately 3 hours with the sunroof open. The car was flooded and I was unable to find my keys. So I had to use an umbrella. It was extremely hard to get a hold of someone from the dealership, after waiting 45 minutes in the pouring rain and contacting the finance manager, and him hanging up on me because it "wasn't his job", the service manager was finally contacted. To make a very long and tiring story short, the dealership saw it as an opportunity to make money and was shocked that I wasn't choosing them to make the repairs to the interior. Yes they did pay for the rental, and did pay for the deductible on my insurance, but it was a very difficult experience. Now my car has "FLOOD" on the title, and I couldn't even get the oil change refunded. They made me feel as if they were doing me a favor, and then when the other dealership had to wait on the factory to make the new seats, they called me and cancelled the rental and said it was taking too long, as if it was my fault. Basically I was told it wasn't there problem and they have been more than fair... Really, yes it’s completely fair that I have to deal with a car that has Flood on the car fax, and your dealer only had to pay for the seats and carpets to be replaced. The car now smells weird, and this is not the end of this. Companies that operate in such a poor manor should be made an example of. Seriously take your money elsewhere because this company is only about itself, and the *** attitudes around that place are ridiculous. This is why this is my very last Ford. The Ford Company really needs to step in and tighten up the quality of service their dealerships are providing. WHO LEAVES THE SUNROOF OPEN IN A CUSTOMERS CAR WITH THE KEYS "APPARENTLY" INSIDE? Which they weren't!!!

Ford says it's OK to drive car with defective Air bag

No help from Ford. In my opinion, Ford has calculated that it's cheaper to deal in a court of law over deaths of people than accept responsibility for flaws in their products. In the 15S21 it specifically states "An inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death." When you speak with the Ford Customer Care (Vended out call center staff members) they say it's ok to drive the car until the corrections are made. Honda allows rental cars for those who have the same problem. Who in their right mind would drive a car with this warning? I think Mr.Galloway should see his physician and get his meds changed.

Defective airbags, FORD doesn't care!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been trying for months to get a replacement airbag for my 2014 Mustang and have been told everytime that they do not have them and don't know when they will get them in. These defective airbags have killed and injured lots of people already, but Ford and Sam Galloway are concerned about the public's safety, jus selling cars! Don't expect any help from Galloway or Ford!! I have a car that I am concerned about driving but nobody seems to care or wants to solve the problem. The Federal government should force these companies to address this problem immediately and protect the consumers. They let General Motors get away will killing people in their defective cars and slapped them with a large fine.

The reason why they don't have a solution to the problem yet is because the recall was massive in scale. it not only effected the airbags already in the vehicles, but also the spare parts laying around the warehouses. they are being honest when they say they don't now when the part will come in, because they don't know if there are any out there that aren't effected.

I have a 2014 mustang gt that I bought in august of 2014. Ford sent out a recall letter in july of 2015 and still don't have the parts to fix the problem.

So I make payments every month and the car has to stay in my garage because I am afraid to drive it. I think ford should half to pay the customers back for the non use of there cars.

Or make the company in japan pay for the non use of the cars. When you outsource work this fords and takatas problem.

$190 dollar fuel filter change 6.7 diesel

Galloway Ford wants to change the fuel filters on my 2012 f-350 6.7 diesel engine for the outrageous price of $190.The filters are $50 and it takes 15 minutes. Steve the truck service manager says that the price is a legitimate and reasonable price. Galloway should be ashamed.I have purchased a lot of vehicals from Sam Galloway Ford and I understand that they are in business to make money but $130 for 15 minutes labor is a bit stiff.I was also told the service would take about an hour and 2 hours later i was done. Oil change , Tire Rotation , Air Filter / NO FUEL FILTERS

Didn't buy used car because of leak I sunroof they still have it for sale. Had salesman pour a trash bucket of water on sunroof. It already had water stains on the inside. Rich the associate didn't wait to see if it leaked, just went inside with his head down. I felt inside and sure enough it was leaking. He said there was a difference between a bucket of water and rain. WTF. I was born and raised in this state. Rain for an hour is and a bucket of water is all the same. Yet knowing it leaks they still have it for sale. Sam galloway direct is not trust worthy. Rich, shame on you. You knew about that leak yet you trade your soul to make money off of the less knowing.

Sam Galloway Ford - Ford Fiesta Review from Fort Lauderdale, Florida

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was told by 3 different employees they were having problems with the Ford Fiesta transmission then tell me why Galloway Ford would even put the Fiesta on the sales floor and sell it to a disabled old lady that they knew was going for surgery...the car broke down on me 2 weeks after purchase it was fixed under warranty but it is still knocking jerking an overall the transmission is a piece of *** I'm very displeased that Galloway Ford would even sell the Fiesta with the knowledge the transmissions are bad. are they that hard up for money.I walked into Galloway Ford because they were family owned since 1927. I thought they were a credible company. unfortunately for me I was wrong.

Selling JUNK TRUCKS to Retired people

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On April 9 we bought an 2006 F350 Ford truck. On the way home it started hydroplaining. There was no water on the road. The steering was almost impossible. We took it back to Galloway Ford on Boy Scout Dr. and the serviceman told us that these trucks have this problem and we should just seal with it. He also said that all the salesmen knew that this truck had this problem. They all said it was a good truck with no problems. We traided in a good car to get this truck to pull our camper to pull out West for a long deserved vacation. I wouldn't pull anything with this truck! I can't believe a Dealer with a good reputation would do this to us. We tried to get them to repair the truck but were told it is our problem now and we can just deal with it. We are on a fixed income and can't just "deal with it" They ought to be ashamed to sell a truck with known problems of this magnitude. I will never trust them again and neither should you!

*** Sales Reps

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I found a vehicle on their website, take a test drive and came back the next day to buy and they had sold it, even though I told them I was coming in to buy the vehicle. It's first come, first served I was okay with that issue. They called me later in the day to alert me that the deal fell through on the vehicle and that it was available. I told them I could come directly over (this was about 6pm), they said it wasn't necessary and to come the next morning and the keys would be on his desk. I sent my wife and infant child to the dealership the next morning as I was working and come by later to sign everything. I was on my way to the dealership (my wife had been there for an hour or so) when I got a call that they could not find the vehicle and then found out it had been sold the night before. The 2 Sales Reps in question either did not have the training to perform their duties, did not have the requisite brain power to put a hold on a car, or just figured it would still be there in the morning and was too busy to make a quick phone call to hold a vehicle. They have made no offer to help find a similar vehicle and nor have I heard back from the Sales Manager. I look forward to seeing them bagging groceries at Publix soon as clearly they can't perform the simple duties of taking an order for a car. ***

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
When I arrived to dealership, not only did I had to find a salesman to sell me a car but salesman was not interested at all. He absolutely did not care! Hardly answered my questions, was very uncooperative. After leaving, salesman never even attempted to contact me to come back. When your paycheck depends on your sales you go sell and work for it. Entire staff was not friendly at all and completely lazy! Family owned! yeah right! Go somewhere else to buy a Ford! Owners should be ashamed of themselves and their employees! Rip off dealership and absolute worst one ever

Sneaky, decietful people. Stay away

I recently purchased a car from your Galloway direct location, 2002 Cadillac DHS, that same night when I drove off the lot i rolled down the windows to find that 2 of the 4 windows were completely broken, the glass fell into the door! WHY DIDNT THE DEALERSHIP TELL ME THE WINDOWS WERE BROKEN??? The very first time I used them they broke!! You can’t tell me your people never once rolled the windows down before selling me the cars! The next day I returned to the dealership where Darlene Janora, the manager, instructed me to go to see Todd at the galloway lincoln location . todd had his mechanic "fix" the window . which consisted of him stuffing wadded up paper to keep the window propped up, also in the process he scratched the inside door with his door panel removing tool! consequently ten minutes later the window again fell into the door . Plus i waited 2 hours for him to complete this task ! At this point I now have 2 windows stuck in my doors and I cant even drive the car for fear it would rain and ruin the leather interior! I have had the car 2 days at this point and I had to bring it in to my mechanic where he had to replace 2 regulators in the windows $442 later. I again spoke with Darlene about this issue, she asked me to submit the invoices which I did. I didn’t receive any calls back after many, many repeated attempts to contact Darlene, finally when I did get in touch with her after being hung up on by a salesperson she told me the check was in the mail, that was 2 WEEKS AGO! I am not a wealthy person! I did not plan on spending an additional 442 dollars the very next day I bought a car from you or I would’nt have bought it! Your Motto is "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS NOT JUST A SLOGAN , IT'S A COMMITMENT!" It's time to live up to your commitment!

Paid in full for a car 1/14/14 as of 3 /27/14 I have no title or plates

After many calls 15 hours of time, $, One trip to Ups to copy forms, 4 trips to Sam Galloway Direct route 41 Fort Myers F L A trip to the FL Department of Public Safety. With a 3:00 hour wait. I was told by the Ohio Title burro They have no record of a title or plate request for my car. I have been on the phone since 9:00am it is now 2:45pm. I talked to Rita @ 239-274-****. She stated They were now overnighting a check to Ohio (I paid this with the purchase of my car months ago) She said "you are not nice that's why we won't help you" If anyone is from out of state beware! This is the most upsetting dealing I have ever experienced. At this time I can only assume - the dealership did not have title to the car & has taken $16,552.36 From me. I do not own a car?
